Yuwen Cheng

Doctoral Student

Yuwen Cheng is a full-time doctoral student at the McBee Institute of Higher Education. Her research interests focus on examining the impact of systemic policy changes on students’ access, success, and educational outcomes.  

Before joining the McBee Institute, Yuwen served as a research assistant, where she gained experience estimating the impact of social identity on educational outcomes. 

Yuwen holds a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies, with a concentration in Higher Education, from Boston University, and a B.A. in Business English from Sichuan International Studies University. Currently, she works as a Research Assistant under the supervision of Dr. Christian Michael Smith.
