MEd, 2024 Sarah Sonenberg joined the Institute of Higher Education as an M.Ed. candidate pursuing her degree in Higher Education. Sarah currently serves as the Senior Director of Alumni Chapters in UGA’s Office of Alumni Relations. She is responsible for managing the alumni chapters team and provides oversight for 80+ chapters that bring UGA alumni together in local communities around the world. She works on sustaining the alumni chapter structure and ensures the ongoing recruitment, training and leadership of chapter volunteers. Sarah graduated from Georgia College and State University with her Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications. She has worked in higher education for over a decade in development and alumni relations, previously serving Augusta University and Emory University before joining UGA in 2018.
