Jennifer Barnett is a dedicated higher education professional with nearly three decades of experience in student financial aid administration. She currently serves as the Director of Financial Aid at Gwinnett Technical College, where she oversees the delivery of federal, state, and institutional aid programs with a focus on transparency, compliance, and student advocacy. Jennifer’s career has been rooted in helping diverse students navigate the complex path to college affordability, and she is widely recognized for her clear communication and empathetic support.

As both an institutional leader and the parent of a college-bound high school student, Jennifer brings a unique and deeply personal perspective to her work. She is now pursuing a Master’s degree in Higher Education at the University of Georgia's Louise McBee Institute of Higher Education to further strengthen her impact in the field and continue supporting student success from both administrative and policy-oriented lenses.
