EdD, 2005 Dr. Ginger Mathis currently serves as the Associate Vice President of Academic Affairs at Georgia Northwestern Technical College; she joined the college in 1989 as an instructor of Computer Information Systems. Dr. Mathis also serves as Chair for the Educational Initiatives Committee for Thrive 2055 a Chattanooga, TN Regional 15-county planning initiative and on the Northwest Georgia College and Career Academy Board of Directors as well as the University of Georgia Archway Executive Board of Directors for Whitfield County, GA. She was selected by College President to participate in state Executive Leadership Academy for 2013-2014. She is also on the Catoosa County Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. She earned a Doctor of Education degree in Higher Education from the University of Georgia, a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from Southern Polytechnic State University, and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems from the University of South Alabama.
