Doctoral Student Evelyn Bragg is the Assistant Director of Research and Sponsored Programs at the University of West Georgia. She brings over 20 years of experience in education, with a career spanning educational technology leadership, grant development, and research administration. Evelyn has contributed to large-scale federal research projects, managing aspects of research design, data collection, and evaluation. Her expertise includes grant writing, compliance, and fostering collaborative research opportunities. Evelyn holds a BA in International Economic Affairs and a MPA in Education. Her professional goal is to advance research administration through data-informed practices—expanding external funding, strengthening compliance and evaluation, and building collaborative infrastructures that accelerate impactful scholarship. Outside of work, Evelyn enjoys traveling, spending time outdoors, exploring cultural activities, cooking, being with her husband and family, and caring for their rescue dog.
