Doctoral Student Emily (she/her) is a proud first-generation Asian American and student affairs scholar-practitioner. Her research interests include student mental health, racial/ethnic identity development, international educational policy, interpersonal cultural exchange amongst students, and campus advocacy. She values cross-discipline collaboration and accessibility within research, and she hopes to utilize art (specifically dance) as a way to spread knowledge. Emily holds a Bachelor of Arts from Emory University in Dance & Movement Studies with a minor in Ethics, as well as a Master of Education in College Student Affairs Administration from UGA. She currently serves as an Academic Advisor and is a part-time doctoral student in the McBee Institute of Higher Education.
