EdD, 2013 Dave Snow currently serves as a part-time faculty member at the University of North Georgia. He previously served as the U.S. Advisor, Faculty, and Researcher for the Republic of Kenya and their National Defense University. There he advised the university on curriculum, editorial procedures for inaugural peer reviewed journals, and facilitated speakers and partnerships with US institutions of higher learning. Snow has also served as a Foreign Service Advisor for Security Cooperation and Higher Education within the U.S. Department of State. He also served as the Director of Military Affairs for the Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia, where he promoted higher education awareness, access, collaboration, and achievement for all military affiliated students. Additionally, he served as assistant professor at National Defense University’s Joint Forces Staff College. At NDU, he taught mid-senior grade military officers, civilian leaders, and international fellows a myriad of topics relating to national security, strategic planning and communications, humanitarian assistance, and multinational cooperation. In his last military assignment, he served as a human resources policy manager for the U.S. Navy managing manpower and training requirements for 87,000 personnel in 19 career fields. He also has served as an assistant professor, associate professor, department chair and senior administrator for naval programs at Auburn University, University of Memphis and University of Mississippi. Dave is a retired United States naval officer with years of experience in higher education, engineering, IT program management, community outreach, student advising and recruiting, public affairs and budgeting. He brings a unique international perspective having traveled around the globe and previously resided in Europe, Asia and the Middle East. During three years working in NATO, he met with dignitaries and various ministries of member nations. In addition to his Ed.D. from UGA, he earned an MBA from Auburn University, MA in Military History from Norwich University, and BA in marketing from Georgia College and State University.
