Carol Flowers

Carol Flowers has worked in higher education for more than 18 years.  Currently, she is assistant vice provost in the Office of Faculty Affairs at Emory University, where she works closely with the provost on a number of diverse projects related to academic administration and appointments, and leads special projects.  Prior to that, Flowers served as director of EO/AA compliance in the Office of Equity and Inclusion, and as associate director of faculty affairs in the Office of the Provost, both at Emory University.  She serves on a variety of university committees and co-chairs the Divisional Committee on Community and Diversity.

A native of New York, Flowers received her bachelor of arts in English literature from Baruch College (CUNY) and her master of public health in health education at Emory University.
