Candice Peters

Candice Peters serves as an Assistant Professor of Student Affairs Administration at Appalachian State University. 

Candice Peters was an international student from Kingston, Jamaica. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communications, with a double minor in Marketing and Human Resource Management, at Adelphi University in New York. During her undergraduate career, she promoted safety, inclusion and camaraderie within her residence hall as a resident assistant.

While earning her M.Ed. at the Institute of Higher Education, she worked with University of Georgia Housing as a graduate resident in Brumby Hall, where she supervised Resident Assistants, oversaw programming and community service efforts, and facilitated the academic and personal growth of residents.
