Brooks Seay

Alumna Brooks Seay (EdD, 2011) is the vice rector for finance and administration at the St. Paul's School in Concord, New Hampshire. Her more than 35 years of experience includes nearly two decades in education, beginning with her 2003 appointment as chief business officer and associate dean for the School of Law at Emory University in Atlanta. She was also senior vice president of finance and operations /CFO at Young Harris College, a four-year, liberal arts college located in northern Georgia, and served as interim president of the college. Additionally, Dr. Seay was chief financial and operating officer at the Asheville School in Asheville, North Carolina. 

Prior to her work in education, Dr. Seay was chief operating and financial officer at Ashe & Rafuse, LLP; the chief financial officer at Kilpatrick Stockton, LLP; and the controller for Swift, Currie, McGhee & Hiers, LLP, all in Atlanta. She is also a certified public accountant, a member of the Georgia bar and a member of the National Association of College and University Business Officers (NACUBO). 

She received her bachelor of business administration degree from Oglethorpe University in 1985, juris doctorate from Georgia State University in 1994, and master of business administration from Emory University in 2009. Additionally, she earned a doctor of education degree in higher education management from the Louise McBee Institute of Higher Education at the University of Georgia in 2011.
