Alex Monday

Alex Monday is a researcher at Ithaka S+R on the Educational Transformation team. Alex has published and presented work using quantitative and qualitative methods to understand the equity implications of higher education finance and approaches to postsecondary access and success. 

Prior to returning for his PhD, Alex worked in the fiscal policy division at the Tennessee Higher Education Commission where he focused on outcomes-based funding, state appropriations, institution finance, and evaluating financial aid programs. He holds a bachelor’s in business from The College of New Jersey, a master’s in public policy from Vanderbilt University, and a PhD in higher education from the University of Georgia.
