Adrian Marin

Doctoral Student

Adrian  Marin  is a part-time doctoral student in the McBee Institute of Higher Education. He serves as the Executive Assistant to the Vice President for Student Affairs at the University of Georgia. In this role, he serves as a confidential advisor to and content creator for the Vice President for Student Affairs, provides direct administrative and logistical support, and manages the day-to-day operations of the office.  Marin  is a member of the UGA Student Affairs Leadership Team and works closely with the Vice President for Student Affairs and other members of the office in strategic planning for event coordination, case management, internal communications, and public speaking. Before advancing into his present position,  Marin  served in administrative roles at the Office of Undergraduate Admissions at the University of Georgia. 

Marin  serves Athens and the surrounding communities as a member of the St. Mary’s Hospital Board of Directors. He is fluent in English and Spanish and is a certified Grant Writer.  Marin  is also a member of the University of Georgia Chapter of The National Society of Leadership and Success, and the Tri-Alpha Honor Society. 

Marin  earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Ministry and Leadership, Cum Laude, from Life Pacific University and earned a Master of Education degree in Learning, Leadership and Organization Development from the University of Georgia.
