Nathan Moore works in the University of Georgia Office of the President as deputy chief of staff.

Moore’s research interests surround the intersection of higher education and economic development, particularly the role of land-grant universities in statewide emerging business development.

Moore earned a Bachelor of Arts in political science and a Master’s in public policy and administration from Mississippi State University. He most recently served as director of corporate and foundation relations at the Mississippi State University Foundation. Prior to that, Moore served as director of development for Mississippi State University’s College of Architecture, Art and Design and in a number of roles in the university’s Division of Student Affairs.
