McBee Institute faculty and students undertake research across a broad range of issues in the field of higher education. They study community college pipelines, comparative higher education, student outcomes, and financial aid polices. They examine intermediary organizations, Minority Serving Institutions, stratification in higher education, and much more. They do so through qualitative, quantitative, mixed, and historical approaches, and through multiple disciplinary and related traditions, including economics, organizational behavior, public policy, and sociology.
