The online M.Ed. program in Higher Education Administration is designed to prepare students for a wide range of professional positions in higher education administration and policy. Our program covers numerous areas of study in higher education using a multidisciplinary approach (e.g., policy, history, sociology, economics). Coursework and co-curricular experiences encourage students to examine critical issues in the field, such as student access and success, while helping them develop the knowledge and skills needed to address such issues.

Our asynchronous online classes have been carefully designed by and are almost exclusively taught by our core faculty members to meet the needs of working professionals. Students take a minimum of 36 credit hours to earn the degree, which includes the completion of 27 credit hours of coursework and 9 additional practicum credit hours, gaining important work-related experiential knowledge.
