Heidi Leming

Bio

Heidi Leming is vice president of student affairs at the College of Coastal Georgia.  Prior to joining Coastal Georgia, she served as a student affairs graduate intern in the Office of Student Affairs, Board of Regents, University System of Georgia where she served as an advisor for the Student Advisory Council and worked on state policy issues. She worked for three years as director of student life and leadership at Austin Peay State University, Clarksville, Tennessee, and four years as director of Student Activities and Leadership Programs at Lynchburg College in Virginia. Leming earned her M.A.Ed. in Higher Education and Student Affairs at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University and her B.S. in Mass Communications from Moorhead State University.

During her time at the Institute of Higher Education, Heidi was the 2011 recipient of the Louise McBee Scholarship from the Georgia Association of Women in Higher Education. The purpose of the scholarship is to support educational enrichment for women exhibiting leadership potential in the field.  Heidi also received a Division-J travel grant to attend the 2011 AERA National Conference in New Orleans.
