Kate Lantz earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology from the University of Georgia in 2014. Immediately following undergrad, Kate worked for two and a half years in the university’s Honors Program Development and External Affairs office, where she handled various aspects of Honors special events, publications, development & fundraising, and alumni relations. She then transitioned to where the currently works: in the Alumni Association office as the Associate Director for Alumni Events. Here Kate leads, oversees, and assists various large and small scale university-wide events both on and off campus, connecting bulldawgs across the nation.
While Kate attended UGA for undergrad, she was a member of the university’s club rowing team for four years, serving one year as the women’s captain. As a student in the Institute of Higher Education, she is interested in researching issues related to university club and recreational sports program funding and organization throughout institutions across the nation.
