Julie Staggs is managing principal, education practice, leadership and talent consultant for Korn/Ferry International. Previously, she was senior client consultant for Stamats, Inc., a higher education marketing company. Staggs is an experienced higher education administrator with a background in admissions and performing arts management. She has worked across the U.S. and Canada with multiple colleges and universities at a variety of levels including staff, faculty, and administration. She has consulted with various universities to plan, develop, and launch new programs, including all project phases such as planning, hiring, training, implementation, and evaluation. Additionally, she speaks regularly at national conferences on various marketing and recruiting topics.
In addition to her work in higher education, Staggs has done consulting for Fortune 100 companies in the areas of corporate training, marketing, and strategic planning. Her consulting focused on innovation and strategic partnering.
Staggs has served as a founding board member for the Georgia Distance Learning Association; on the MBA Advisory Board for American Intercontinental University, Buckhead Campus, in Atlanta; and currently serves on the Converse College Alumnae Board.
Staggs received her Bachelor of Arts from Converse College and her Executive MBA, with a concentration in leadership, from the University of Georgia. She is currently working on her Doctorate of Education in higher education management at UGA's Institute of Higher Education.
