Edward Lee

Bio

Ed Lee is executive director of forensics in the Barkley Forum Center for Debate Education at Emory University.  Additionally, he serves as the special projects coordinator for Emory Campus Life's assistant vice president of community.  He is also a regular national media commentator for U.S. presidential debates. 

Lee was formerly director of debate at the University of Alabama and won the President’s Award of Excellence from the University of California-Berkeley during his tenure as director of the Bay Area Urban Debate League.

In addition to creating organizational structures and programs that facilitate deliberation and dialogue, Lee's higher education interests include advocacy training and developing student empowerment and intercultural personhood.
