Brooks Seay

Alumna Brooks Seay (EdD, 2011) is the chief financial officer and chief operations officer at the St. Paul's School in Concord, New Hampshire. She brings 30 years of business experience--including more than a decade in higher education--to the residential high school.

Seay previously served as interim president at Young Harris College during 2017, and she was president of finance and operations and CFO. At YHC, she guided the strategic direction of a college that experienced significant recent growth and provided leadership and oversight for all aspects of the institution’s financial administration and nonacademic operations. 

Seay had served as chief business officer and associate dean of the School of Law at Emory University. Prior to her position at Emory, Seay served as a financial leader at Ashe & Rafuse, LLP, Kilpatrick Stockton, LLP and at Swift, Currie, McGhee & Hiers, LLP.

She received her bachelor of business administration degree from Oglethorpe University in 1985, juris doctorate from Georgia State University in 1994, and master of business administration from Emory University in 2009. Additionally, she earned a doctor of education degree in higher education administration and leadership from the Institute of Higher Education in 2011.
