Alex comes to IHE from East Tennessee State University, where he earned bachelor’s degrees in history and political science. While at ETSU, Alex served as student body president and held positions with New Student and Family Programs, where he helped oversee orientation leader staff and conduct programming with first-year students.
Most recently, Alex worked with the Office of the President at ETSU. He currently holds a graduate assistantship with the UGA Small Business Development Center. He also serves as the Master's Representative of HESS (IHE's Higher Education Student Society).
Alex’s research interests include higher education policy, organization, and state access programs.
