The Faculty Development in Georgia (FDIG) program, established in 1964 and conducted in cooperation with the Graduate School, gives faculty members from institutions across the state an opportunity to continue their graduate education on a full-time basis.

  • appropriate course work in the academic department chosen by the faculty member;
  • seminars concerned with current issues in higher education conducted by the Louise McBee Institute of Higher Education (MIHE);
  • and responsibilities to be arranged by the faculty member's academic department head and the director of the MIHE.
