Sharon Logan Neff

Sharon Logan Neff is currently the Associate CIO for Finance and Administrative Systems at the University of Georgia. Her research interests include governance models in higher education at the institution level and within systems of higher education.

Neff has 23 years of higher education experience, 15 years of which were spent working with state system leadership on large IT focused projects including institutional consolidations and ERP implementations. She has expertise in ERP implementations, project management and governance.

Her higher education career began in 2000 at the Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia in the Office of Instructional and Information Technology (later Information Technology Services). Neff began her tenure at the Board of Regents as a business analyst supporting the central financial management system for 32 institutions. She later served as the director of the Project Management Office and the department of Strategic Communications in addition to serving as an interim Associate Vice Chancellor for Information Technology Services. Now at the University of Georgia, Neff is an Associate CIO supporting administrative information systems.

Neff earned her Master and Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Georgia.
