Sa’ada Abdulkadir is a first-year doctoral student at the Louise McBee Institute of Higher Education at the University of Georgia. She currently serves as a Research Assistant under the mentorship of Dr. Stich and Dr. Hailu.

Prior to joining UGA, Sa’ada earned a Bachelor’s degree in English and Literature from Bayero University, Kano – Nigeria, and a Master of Arts in Teaching English as a Second Language from the University of Delaware.

She has three years of experience in higher education, having worked as a part-time faculty member at a technology college in Nigeria.

Her research interests focus on race, diversity, college access and success, and the academic experiences of students from minoritized and historically underrepresented racial and ethnic groups.
