Michelle Oglesby currently serves the director of high school equivalency at the Technical College System of Georgia. She previously served as the dean of academic affairs at North Georgia Technical College, where she coordinated and supervised curriculum development for twelve technical programs in the agriculture, industrial, and transportation disciplines of the college.
Previously, Oglesby served as an instructor in both the k12 and post-secondary sectors for over ten years where she tracked student performance and growth data through a variety of platforms and piloted grade level curriculum for system wide literacy initiatives. Additionally, she worked as a grant program supervisor where she coordinated with faculty and students to provide a high intensity GED prep program for adult learners.
Oglesby is a graduate of Columbus State University with a Master of Education in Secondary English Education and a Bachelor of Science in English Language Arts Education from Auburn University. She earned her Executive Ed.D. from the Louise McBee Institute of Higher Education at the University of Georgia.
