Maya Mapp serves as the provider partnership regional manager at Nourish, a telehealth and digital health platform that connects patients with licensed registered dietitians for virtual nutrition counseling. In her role, Mapp helps builds provider partnerships that drive meaningful outcomes for patients.

Previously, Maya was a clinical outreach manager at Charlie Health, and a program manager for the United Negro College Fund. She has also served as the student government & leadership coordinator at the University of California, Santa Cruz, where she mentored SGA officers, particularly in their leadership development, budgeting and finance, programming, and compliance.

While pursuing he Master’s degree at the Institute of Higher Education, she worked with University Housing as the Graduate Resident for Student Leadership. She enjoyed seeing the personal growth in her students and how research and classroom theories can be applied to better their academic journey and overall experience at UGA.

Maya graduated from Valdosta State University with two Bachelor of Arts degrees in political science and philosophy & religious studies. While at VSU she served as the Student Government Association president for two years, worked as a university ambassador, and served as U.S. Senator Johnny Isakson’s PR/ communications intern. For two years, Mapp participated in the undergraduate research symposium representing VSU’s Philosophy & Religious Studies Department.
