Jackie H. Jones, EdD, MSN, RN is professor emeritus at Kennesaw State University. She served as professor of nursing at the WellStar School of Nursing.
Prior to becoming an educator, she worked in a variety of healthcare settings, including acute care, critical care, public health, long-term care, and home health environments. She received a Masters of Science in Nursing from Vanderbilt University, Nashville, TN and an EdD in Higher Education at the University of Georgia, Athens, GA. Her research includes medication errors, health literacy, development of critical thinking skills, nursing education, concierge medicine, fluid and electrolyte balance, and nutrition.
