Trisha Barefield

Trisha Barefield is assistant director of accommodated testing and alternative text in UGA’s Disability Resource Center where she acts as the senior coordinator of accommodated testing and a coordinator of disability services.

Before moving to Athens, Barefield earned a Bachelor of Science in secondary education with concentrations in English and history from Central Michigan University. In her research, she hopes to incorporate gender and postmodernist theories in the study of higher education.
