Alexa Lee Arndt

Alexa Lee Arndt serves as a research assistant with the J.W. Fanning Institute for Leadership Development. Her research interests include, among other topics, women in senior leadership roles within institutions of higher education. While at the McBee Institute, Alexa served as the president of the Higher Education Student Society.

Alexa holds two Bachelor of Art degrees from The Ohio State University (Public Affairs & International Studies) and her M.S.Ed. from Indiana University. Most recently Alexa’s professional experiences stem from the Division of Student Affairs at the University of Mississippi. Her work primarily involved undergraduate student leadership programming, student organization conduct, student organization advising, and fraternity and sorority life advising.

Two members of the McBee Institute community, Alexa Arndt and Brionna Johnson, were selected to receive the 2023 Louise McBee Scholarship sponsored by the Georgia Association for Women in Higher Education (GAWHE).
