Trisha Barefield

Master's Student




Trisha Barefield is pursuing a Master’s degree in the Institute of Higher Education. She is also a full-time staff member in UGA’s Disability Resource Center where she acts as the coordinator of accommodated testing and a coordinator of disability services.

Before moving to Athens, Barefield earned a Bachelor of Science in secondary education with concentrations in English and history from Central Michigan University. In her research, she hopes to incorporate gender and postmodernist theories in the study of higher education.
