Solomon Hughes

Solomon Hughes is an instructor and faculty affiliate at Duke University in the Samuel DuBois Cook Center on Social Equity. Prior to Duke he served as the Assistant Director of the EDGE Doctoral Fellowship Program at Stanford University. Dr. Hughes has served as a Lecturer in Stanford’s  Graduate School of Education, and designed undergraduate courses that examine the intersections of race, college athletics, and college achievement. He holds a PhD in higher education from the University of Georgia as well as a BA and MA  from the University of California at Berkeley.

Solomon is inspired by the potential of higher education and firmly believes that excellent learning is inclusive learning.
