Leslie S. Gordon is the associate director of the Executive Doctoral Program in Higher Education Management. She earned her A.B. in romance languages from the University of Georgia, her M.A. in romance linguistics from the University of Michigan, and her Ph.D. in applied linguistics from Georgetown University. She has held previous positions in UGA's Office of the Vice President for Instruction and Office of Academic Planning, where she worked on numerous institutional initiatives related to teaching, student learning, and outcomes assessment. Her teaching and research interests include academic assessment, issues confronting contingent faculty, faculty development, and language pedagogy.
