Lady Cox

Lady Cox serves as the associate vice president for Student Engagement in the Division of Student Affairs at Auburn University. In this role, she oversees Student Involvement (service, programming, governance, and student organizations), Student Leadership Programs, Parent and Family Programs, Student Media (newspaper, radio station, yearbook, television station, and literary magazine), and the Student Center. Additionally, she is deputy Title IX coordinator for the university.

Cox has been at Auburn since 2010 serving in roles including coordinator of Parent Programs, chief of staff, and interim assistant vice president overseeing Greek Life, Health Promotion and Wellness Services, Student Conduct, Accounting, Human Resources, and Marketing. 

Prior to joining the staff at Auburn, Cox was the director of Parent and Student Services in the Dean of Students Office at Mississippi State University. She also worked in the Department of Housing and Residence Life at MSU.

A native of Mississippi, Cox earned a bachelor’s degree in communication studies from Mississippi State. She has a master’s degree in higher education with an emphasis in student affairs from Auburn University.
