Doctoral Student Kelly Slaton is the assistant director for institutional reporting at the UGA Office of Institutional Research. She assists with data collection, analysis, visualization and reporting. Previously, Slaton served as the Coordinator of Assessment & Diversity Initiatives in the Office of Institutional Diversity at UGA from 2012-2016, where she was responsible for the assessment and evaluation of office programs, identifying and pursuing development opportunities to support campus diversity efforts, and leading other diversity initiatives as assigned. Slaton earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in anthropology from the University of Georgia and a Master of Public Administration from Georgia State University. Her research interests while at MIHE included issues of access, first-generation college students, women in higher education, issues of work-life balance, institutional research and higher education data management.
