HeeJung Gong received two Bachelor’s degrees, one in Public Administration and another in Family Resource Management with a minor in Education from Sookmyung Women’s University in South Korea, graduating with academic honors. She then earned a Master’s degree in Education, focused on Higher Education, from Yonsei University in South Korea. Prior to beginning her doctoral study at IHE, she worked in a research position at the Center for Global Higher Education in Yonsei University and the Korean Educational Development Institute (KEDI). Her recent research interests are organizational effectiveness, institutional research, and finance issues in higher education. HeeJung Gong currently serves as a doctoral intern for assessment and research in the Department of Student Affairs Assessment and Staff Development, under the Office of the Vice President for Student Affairs at UGA.
