Beverly S. Cormican has worked in Higher Education for almost 30 years, the last 27 of which have been at Emory University where she serves in dual roles. She is the assistant vice president for real estate with responsibilities for the university’s real estate portfolio and related administrative matters for the office of the executive vice president for finance and administration. She also serves as associate vice provost for continuing education with responsibilities for noncredit programs for nontraditional students under the office of the provost. Prior to her current roles, Beverly served in leadership roles at Emory University in the School of Nursing as director of finance and administration; the Division of Cardiology within the School of Medicine as the department administrator; and the Office of the Executive Vice President for Finance and Administration as the director of university projects.
Beverly is presently enrolled in the Executive Doctorate in Higher Education Management program at the University of Georgia. She holds a bachelor’s degree in English education from Bob Jones University and a master’s degree in business education from the University of Georgia. As supplemental professional development, she also completed the Management Development Program through the Harvard Institutes for Higher Education.
